Server Settings
Use this page to review and define fonts for use with ColdFusion FlashPaper and PDF output formats. ColdFusion generates FlashPaper and PDF outputs through the cfdocument tag, through the cfreport tag, or when directly invoking a Report Builder CFR file.
ColdFusion automatically registers Acrobat built-in fonts and fonts located in typical font locations (such as the Windows\fonts directory). However, if your server has additional fonts installed in nonstandard locations, you must register them with the ColdFusion Administrator so that ColdFusion can locate and render reports in PDF and FlashPaper output formats.
This page contains the following sections:
Register New Font with ColdFusion: Browse to a directory that contains fonts or select a specific font, and then click New Font.
User Defined Fonts: Displays the fonts that you registered explicitly.
Current System Fonts: Displays fonts stored in platform-specific system font directories. For a list of these directories, see Font Management overview.

Specifies a fully qualified path to a directory that contains font files or to a specific font file. The ColdFusion Administrator lets you register the following types of font formats:

Font Family |
High-level font name (for example, Arial or Times New Roman). |
Font Face |
A specific font face (for example, Arial Italic or Times New Roman Bold). |
PostScript Name |
Specifies the PostScript name of the font. |
Font Type |
Specifies the font type (for example, TrueType or Adobe Built-In). |
Usable In |
Specifies whether the font is usable in PDF, FlashPaper, or both formats.
Note: Adobe built-in fonts are not usable in FlashPaper output format. |

Fully qualified path to the font file. |
